Jocelyn Van

Jocelyn Van is a contemporary and public artist, muralist, illustrator and creative educator. Her work explores identity, nature, transformation and community through bold color and expressive visual storytelling.

Artist biography

Jocelyn Van President works professionally as JOCELYN VAN. Her practice brings together original artwork, murals, illustration and creative education, with an interest in the relationship between personal stories and shared spaces.

As a mother and military spouse, she brings lived perspectives on family, identity and belonging to her creative work. Art After Service and Paint With Jocelyn extend that practice into artist-led programming.

Texas Public Radio identified Jocelyn Van Taylor and Tyson Davis as lead artists/designers for The Art of Four’s 2023 San Pedro Creek mural project. Historical coverage may use Jocelyn Van Taylor or Jocelyn Taylor; those credits remain unchanged.
